Reform Physiotherapy is here to support you in every step of your recovery, and to help you realise your goals. We take pride in our patient-centred approach: we listen, diagnose and educate in order to execute a tailored plan for your long-term benefit.
Through our highly experienced team of Physiotherapists, Sports Massage Therapists and Pilates Instructors, we are able to collaborate and harness in-depth knowledge to devise a holistic approach to treatment and wellbeing. Each of our clients benefits from the full team’s expertise in manual therapy techniques alongside evidence-based rehabilitation and exercise programmes.
We combine insight gained from your medical history with the results of your biomechanical and orthopaedic assessments to diagnose, and then work together to design your individualised treatment plan.
We understand that everybody has different experiences with pain, and your journey through that will be very individual to you. We always take the time to listen to your story so we can get a full understanding of how your symptoms are impacting your life. This way, we are able to create a tailored plan that is focused on achieving your goals over the shortest period possible.
Our team of highly trained clinicians have a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon to accurately diagnose your pain. Through questioning, observing and clinically testing we aim to ensure that you leave confidently knowing what is causing your symptoms.
At Reform we believe ‘knowledge is power’ and that the more you understand about your diagnosis and treatment plan, the better you are going to be able to manage and control your symptoms. We pride ourselves on giving clear and concise information to empower you throughout your recovery. We liaise with your GP and specialists keeping them up to date on your rehabilitation and will assist you with any onward referrals as necessary.
At Reform, we apply an evidenced based approach to create a bespoke treatment plan for each individual. This will be made up of a combination of manual therapy techniques, including acupuncture/dry needling as well as a home exercise plan (available online).
To ensure your progression we will collaborate with you, while referring back to your prior assessments to ensure that your rehabilitation is always advancing.
Our first goal is to get you out of pain and our promise is to support you in staying fit and healthy.
Emma was excellent in helping me get strong enough to ski again after a complicated knee fracture. She is extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and positive. She worked with me in the gym and tailor-made an exercise plan to work on. I am back enjoying skiing! Thanks Emma!.
Pilates sessions with Emma have completely changed the way I move! My posture has improved, i'm more toned and a recurrent back/neck problem has all but disappeared. I highly recommend Emma's excellent classes.
Since I started working with Emma Law my lifts have improved to the point where I am considering record attempts in my weight and age category, so Pilates works for powerlifting! Thanks Emma.
Having felt very unfit due to lack of exercise I started with Emma some weeks ago to improve flexibility and strength and am loving getting my body moving more. Also I feel so secure and comfortable with the workout programme Emma chooses which is nicely challenging for my fitness level and makes me feel much better from week to week!! Just what I needed.
Three years ago, at the age of 57, I decided to take up Pilates to help my body to move more freely and I am so glad that I found Emma who has been an amazing teacher, fully understanding my limitations and successfully working with me to improve my flexibility, core strength and posture.
I initially sort treatment to manage severe chronic neck pain from Cervical spondylitis. I was also due for a knee replacement, both degenerative conditions. Emma is highly skilled in the precise attention to the details of rehabilitation. Her ability to focus intently on 3 clients with different health issues in the same session is constant. It is that energetic approach that has resulted in my ability to build strength and to retain overall function. My neck pain has reduced considerably and I was able to recover from the knee surgery rapidly.
