Aoife graduated as a physiotherapist in Ireland. She then gained experience working in Singapore for 3 years treating patients with neurological conditions including those recovering from stroke and living with neurological conditions such as Parkinsons and MS.

For the past 6 years Aoife has worked in specialist orthopaedics hospital within the NHS as a highly specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Aoife works with those with acute and persistent musculoskeletal pain, following elective orthopaedic surgery, adolescents’ & young people with scoliosis, hypermobility syndromes & those with young adult hip conditions including hip dysplasia, FAI & early onset osteoarthritis. Many of these patients also have additional medical needs including neurological conditions, osteoporosis or rheumatological conditions.

Aoife enjoys this opportunity to work with a wide variety of ability levels including those recovering post- surgery, older patients looking to improve their day-to-day mobility and with dancers and higher-level athletes looking to return to their activity. Aoife is passionate about ensuring care is individualised and specific to a clients’ needs and facilitates return to the activities that are meaningful to them.

Aoife has completed her APPI mat work level 1 & 2 certification & completed further training Mindful movement, breathwork & strength & conditioning. She has taught ‘Mindful Pilates’ and strengthening classes as part of her role in the NHS.

Aoife is currently completing her masters in ‘Advanced MSK physiotherapy’ at the University of Hertfordshire. In her spare time she enjoys running, staying active in the gym and wild swimming.
