Which Pilates Is Right For Me?
Physio:Pilates VS Pilates Classes
Physio:Pilates Sessions
- Full Physio Assessment required prior to class
- Classes our led by a Physiotherapist
- Very small class sizes - max 3 participants
- Individualized Exercise, like a 1:1 in a group environment
- Virtual Assessment recommended every 10 sessions (comes free with a pack of 10 classes)
- Sessions can utilise alll Pilates Apparatus (Ref, Cad, Chair, Barrels) and S&C Equipment (TRX, KettleBells etc.)
- Can attend throughout pregnancy (unless advised not to by OBGYN)
- Should progress to Dynamic Classes after prescribed sessions
Dynamic Pilates Classes
- No Assessment required
- Reformer class
- Small Class sizes - max 5 participants
- Fitness Class, good for maintenance of old injuries and injury prevention
- Excellent low impact addition to gym based exercise programmes
- Choreographed classes with progressions and regressions to exercises
- Can only attend up until 16 weeks of Pregnancy as the class cannot be modified - we then suggest Physio:Pilates
- Sessions are designed to be a part of your ongoing wellness routine
